Texas A&M; s Glass and Cal Maritime s Burgin Named October 15 Texas and Pacific Coast Players of the

The Collegiate Water Polo Association has announced the selection of California State University, Maritime Academy's Paul Burgin and Texas A&M University's Cameron Glass as the Pacific Coast and Texas Division Players of the Week for their performance during the period of October 8-14.

ImageBurgin's two-meter defense and timely scoring helped the Keelhaulers post a 4-0 record with wins over San Jose State University (13-9 W), Fresno State University (11-6 W), California State University-Chico (9-8 W) and St. Mary's College (12-5 W) as the Fordham University transfer notched eight steals, 10 assists and five goals to key CSU-Maritime.
In the Texas Division, Glass accumulated 15 goals, six assists, four ejections drawn and a five meter penalty shot in four games as the Aggies knocked off Rice University (14-9 W), Texas Tech University (14-5 W), Texas State University (18-4 W) and the University of Texas (9-6 W) to clinch the #1 seed for the upcoming Texas Division Championship Tournament at the University of Houston on October 20-21.
The team's win over Texas marked the program's first victory versus the Longhorns in four years as the Aggies will look to return to Nationals for the first time in as many years.
